Just one picture I'm afraid from our latest venture to Flamingoland on Monday 21st September 2009, to ride the new World Record - Mumbo Jumbo.
Mumbo Jumbo Ride Review
Well to give you an idea, I much prefer Saw: The Ride, it's not fair to compare the 2 I know, but I did. It was good and a little bit different but the pictures of the ride do it far more justice than the ride itself. We all really enjoyed it don't get me wrong, but it was 'missing something' for us as coaster enthusiasts, dare I say a bit gimmicky.
It's a World Record but the record breaking part is so controlled, you don't really get 'released' until nearing the bottom of the drop. I liked the adverse banked corner, that was quite something else. The best part of the ride for us all was the downward Zero-G-Roll, I think.
Maybe I expected too much from the ride and hyped it up so much... I left the ride feeling rather disappointed, and that's the last thing I wanted to write about, but it had to be said. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
